Fitness for one person isn’t necessarily fitness for another. People need a different level of fitness depending on their career. A laborer and office manager fitness level needs are different because the demands of their lifestyles are different.
The most important element in preserving good health and fitness over an entire life span is preventing disease or dis-ease. Some of the factors involved and should be incorporated over your lifetime are:
Incorporate exercise into your daily routine just as your have incorporated brushing your teeth and as much as you can make fitness a lifestyle commitment.
It is never too late to get your body and soul fit enough to meet your lifestyle. Little things mean a lot, an example would be to park a distance in the parking lot at the store. Go for walks around your neighborhood. If you hate gyms, you can achieve fitness in other ways more personally enjoyable to you. Set a good example to your kids, especially in this day and age of technology.
